More Information

The 100 Fold Summer Studio is a six-week initiative equipping young professionals and students in leadership, service and design. The Studio explores how Christian principles can inform a career in architecture. Speakers from around the country will share their expertise on design, business, and world missions. Lectures, small groups, and one-on-one mentorship will focus on faith and vocation. The Studio culminates with a small design/build project for the local community. Each participant has the potential to earn 250 AXP hours toward NCARB’s requirements.

The transition from academia to professional practice is a challenging adjustment. Understanding the trajectory of different career paths is important, and the Studio provides a space for reflection and guidance. Its vision is to develop and champion leaders in service and design.

The Summer Studio takes place on the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) campus in Lakeside, Montana. Lakeside is situated in Northwest Montana, only an hour drive from Glacier National Park. Students live on campus in dormitory style housing and eat in the dining hall. The six-week curriculum includes opportunities to explore the beauty and adventure of Montana.

U.S. citizens are encouraged to participate in Summer Studio as service members through AmeriCorps. Service members will focus on developing environmental design strategies and stay an additional two weeks to fulfill an 8-week program. They will receive a living allowance and, upon completion of the program, an Education Award. There are 15 AmeriCorps positions.
